We are a new political party put together to help create a better world for all animals. Animal welfare and rights has been neglected for too long, with profit and tradition always put first. Our aims include banning all blood sports, closing down puppy farms, ending factory farming and live exports, longer sentences for animal abusers and a lot more beside!

We are an inclusive, democratic party and all are welcome to join us. We aim to bring ALL animal cruelty to an end. The first meeting of Party for Animal Welfare (PAW) was on December 15th at the Abbey Hall, Roscrea, County Tipperary. This followed an exchange of ideas by some like minded people via Facebook, in response to various acts of cruelty in the country at that time. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, with meetings around the country, protests re coursing, greyhound racing, seal, deer culls, vivisection and saving our bees.

We are now looking forward to the future, while increasing our membership and preparing for any forthcoming elections. We are an inclusive, democratic Party and all are welcome to join us. A good party for animals is a good party for humans.
